Skittles Soft & Sweet ^_^

Hey there! Today I have a super soft skittles look to share with you. The idea of a soft glittery look was brewing in my head for awhile, but another cool green polish was messing with me every time (: And again and again :D Ah, I'm a fan of green shades... That's just the way I am. Anyway I (finally) got myself together and banished greens for the day.

I chose Deborah Lippmann Amazing Grace as my white base and did three coats. Then I picked four different soft shade glitters: Lynnderella Ghost Of A Chance and Sweets To The Sweet, All That Glitters Garden Party and Gloss 'N Sparkle Unicorn Droppings (that is actually a killer name :D).

Two coats of each in the following order: pinkie - Unicorn Dropping, ring finger - Garden Party, middle finger - Ghost Of A Chance and index finger - Sweets To The Sweet. And finished with a top coat.

I love this sweet skittles mani! It came out exactly like I was thinking it will be, no overloaded look like yesterday (: And it is so soft! Perfect for a romantic evening or a sweet date ^_^ Too bad I had neither lol!

Here are the polishes I've used today.

Stay tuned and thanks for looking!

  1. Cute mani :) I love colorful matte glitters, they're just so fun. I actually just had a custom polish made by SickLacquers, I had it done in all matte glitter.
I thought Garden Party had flowers in it? Are they really hard to get out, or did you purposly keep them out for the design?

  2. Thanks (: Garden Party does have flowers in it, but they are indeed hard to get out... There are enough flowers in the bottle when you look at it, but it seems like the glitter is not evenly suspended in the bottle. It tends to sink down a bit, so when I did my nails, I turned the bottle upside down so the glitter will migrate to the top and even after that I couldn't fish any flowers.. Oh well, it is still a very pretty polish (:
