Base Color Challenge Day Two

Hi all! Hope your week is going nice and smooth (: Today is the second day of my base color challenge and I'm going to show you a skittles mani that I came up with. As promised yesterday, I took a picture of the base color polish I use for this challenge: Hits Speciallita Party Rock.

Three coats are shown here, no top coat.

Now back to the design. I did one coat of Lynnderella Attitude Adjust - Mint on my ring finger and one coat of Alanna Renee Reptar on my middle finger to add a nice glittering touch to this mani. Then I picked little black round studs from Born Pretty store and glued them on my index finger creating a simple vertical line. Finally I did a geometric design on my pinkie using striping tape and Julep Popova polish (I'm practicing :D) And sealed everything with a top coat.

I do like how this turned out. I have a very positive attitude towards skittles manis so this one was particularly pleasant for me to create. I think I'm getting better with the striping tape and hey, it's great (: Next week I plan to post a separate post with Alanna Renee Reptar swatches as it is wonderfully different from everything I currently own (it is a textured one, new thing for me!).

Here are all the polishes I've used for this mani.

Day two challenge complete (:

Stay tuned and thanks for looking!
