Happy Friday to all! Today is the last day of my base color challenge. Although I did plan to run it for six days initially, now sadly I have to end it earlier as I'm plainly running out of my base color polish. Yes, the 6ml bottle did not last long... Today I was scrounging for the last bits and threw the bottle away after I was done with my mani. It is actually the first ever bottle of nail polish that I used till the last drop :D
So for today's mani I used Hits Party Rock, three coats. I did an accent on my ring finger with Julep Popova, one coat (great polish by the way, one coater!) And finally I applied one coat of Gloss 'n Sparkle Quote Unquote which is a lovely "confetti" mix of white, black, teal and red hexes in a clear base. And finished with a top coat.
I like this mani a lot; it has a bold look with a very little effort which is always appreciated (: I actually wanted to do a gradient mani today, even did a test one on my nail wheel, but I realized I won't have enough Party Rock for that.. So another time (:
Here are the polishes I've used (no Party Rock here as it is gone already).
This concludes my base color challenge. I hope you enjoyed it or at least learned from my mistakes with the striping tape lol! Tomorrow is another day and more great manis are to come!
Stay tuned and thanks for looking!
