Happy Monday! Hope your week is starting fine (: Today I have swatches of a gorgeous Lynnderella polish to share with you. It is called Beside Herself (intriguing name, isn't it?) Beside Herself is a white glitter mix accented with black and bright glitter of different shapes in s sparkling shimmering base.
Too bad I had to cut my nails yesterday as I've got a crack on a side of my index
finger's nail (the worst kind of crack in my opinion) so that
was my only real option.. And I hate these little short nails.. I feel
like they are way too short. I hope you're not too disgust by the look
of my skin sticking out from the top of my finger where my longer nail
usually is. Sadly that how it is going to look for awhile...
I've decided to go with a simple white undies and used my white favorite Deborah Lippmann Amazing Grace, three coats. Then I applied two coats of Beside Herself using regular brush strokes and mostly dabbing of the second coat. And finished with two layers of top coat as some of glitter edges were sticking out.
The formula was good, no issues except maybe a little fishing to get bigger colored glitter out. But it was not too bad. And the polish itself is stunning! I love how this mani looks (although I feel like it would look better on longer nails, damn it).
Here are my polishes!
Stay tuned and thanks for looking!
I love the look of this polish. It reminds me of paint splatter/pop art. I kept debating on buying it, but honestly, I'm still a little sour towards the Lynnderella brand from all the drama. But drama queen or not, the girl whips up some great stuff! So I actually had a polish custom made for me (I went through SickLacquers on Etsy), and I based my design off of this polish :) I named mine "Go Van Gogh" It's somewhat different, but it still has a ton of white white glitter with a pop of colorful shapes. I still love 'Besides Herself', but it was neat making my own. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a very interesting polish indeed! So many different glitters play so nicely together in one bottle. Maybe a bit crowded, but no less charming and special. I love to examine my nails when I wear a complicated glitter mix hehe (: It's great that you've got your own special polish made for you; that's really cool! I sometimes make polishes for myself, just love to explore possibilities! Thanks for reading and commenting!
